What's Happening at Disney Springs?
Hey, Y'all. Jane here from Wish Cricket. I've decided to add some light blogging to my site. I get a lot of questions about Walt Disney World and other Disney adventures. I'm so lucky to live so close to Walt Disney World that I thought this was a great way for me to share what's new and exciting happening around the World.
This past weekend, I spent some time at Disney Springs checking out the Ever After Jewelry & Accessories Co., the newly refurbished World of Disney and the Instagram worthy Disney Style store.
Ever After Jewelry & Accessories Co.
First stop was the Ever After Jewelry & Accessories Co. store. This store is a hidden gem in the Town Center area of Disney Springs and features such brands as Alex & Ani, Dooney & Bourke and Danielle Nicole. There is something here for everyone.
The new Winnie the Pooh Dooney & Bourke line was prominently on display for the event they were happening. They had a wristlet, crossbody, and a tote. The Danielle Nicole purses had some adorable purses for all the sparkly princesses out there, everything from Cinderella, Ariel, and Snow White to Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Mulan. A full selection of rose gold purses and wallets to match the rose gold ears was also available.
World of Disney
Next up was a quick stop at the newly renovated area of World of Disney in the Marketplace section. The new decor is outstanding. It has such a fresh look to it all and everything felt so easy to shop. Tons of room for strollers, wheelchairs, and scooters to shop.
We spoke with one of the cast members there and he said October is when it should be completed. The whole feel is a 1920s orange distillery and there are nods to the original 9 animators throughout the store. The full experience will open in October and will be interactive. He said that the cast members don't even know what that entails but they know it will be special because it has been such a secret.
Last stop is one of my favorite new stores at Disney Springs, the Disney Style store. This store is located on the Westside across from Starbucks. This store has so much personality to it.
There's a giant wall of Cinderella Castle - perfect for getting a photo without anyone else behind you on Main Street and a Minnie Ears Wall that I personally would love to have in my house. (You can check that out here on my Instagram)
This store has a ton of options for those who are Disney Bounding or in the next few months those attending the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, as well as some basic vintage style tees and cute options (like we have here). I loved these off the shoulder Princess tops available in Ariel, Belle, Snow White (my personal favorite), Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. There were tunic length tee options for Alice and the Tweedles. And styles for Maleficent, Ursula, Jessie, and Sully from Monsters, Inc.
I definitely think I missed looking at everything because there was so much to take in. This store has such a fun vibe to it and is a nice addition to the Disney Springs area.
What is your favorite store in Disney Springs? Are you a clothing shopper, an accessories queen or an ear collector? Let me know what you'd like to see in upcoming blogs.
